Eligibility Requirements for Commercial Pilot

Be at least 18 years old.
Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
Hold at least private pilot certificate.
Receive the ground training and pass the FAA knowledge test.
Receive the required flight training and pass the FAA practical test.
Hold at least a third-class medical certificate.

Flight Experience Requirements for Commercial Pilot

Total 250 hours of flight time.
100 hours of Pilot-In-Command time.
50 hours of Pilot-In-Command cross-country time.
20 hours of flight training from an authorized flight instructor.
10 hours of solo or time performing duty of PIC with CFI including one long cross-country and 5 hours of night.
